What is Lemonability?

“Lemonability is a rating we assign to each car, based on the eligibility for compensation via the lemon law.  The more car problems reported by owners over time, the higher the rating.”

Without a doubt, the 2020 Chevrolet Spark is a budget choice for many; however, is it a good option? Can the so-called ‘city go-getter’ bail itself out of the lemon claims? Well, let’s look at some of the most prominent problems and get some clarity.

ENGINE PROBLEM

No one has been able to fully grasp what is wrong with the 2020 Chevrolet Spark Engine. It just seems as though it lacks enough power to carry the whole weight of the car. When you come to a full stop, reaccelerating from zero speed is difficult, and the vehicle seems to struggle to pick up itself. 

This problem is especially noticeable if you stay in areas with high traffic where you have to start and stop frequently. So far, the manufacturers have nothing to say about it.

AIRBAG PROBLEM

A vehicle airbag is undoubtedly a very important part of the vehicle. We all see it as an important safety protocol, and when it performs below expectations, it puts lives at risk. The airbag complaints in the 2020 Chevrolet Spark vary. 

Few sets of individuals complain that the airbags are too hard. Airbags are meant to provide a form of a soft landing for car occupants, and when it becomes too hard, it could worsen injuries. Others complain that their airbags don’t deploy at all. Whatever it is with this airbag, they need to look into it.

STEERING PROBLEM

Looking at the small framework of the 2020 Chevrolet Spark, steering should probably be the least issue. How difficult could it be to control such a small vehicle? Well, the reverse is the case. It seems as though the manufacturers over-lubricated the steering gears. 

The steering wheels are reportedly too soft, and keeping the vehicle straight on the road requires more effort than usual.
